Hi, I’m Moutaz

I’m the author of The Second Motive, a book that explores how guilt, fear, past trauma, and overthinking paralyze action, and how to turn it around and push forward.

I’ve spent most of my life abroad, and with nearly two decades of experience working with diverse people across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, I became fascinated by the psychology behind why people act, why they don’t, and what really drives human behavior.

My ideas didn’t come from theory; they actually came from experience. I got myself out of a mental and emotional rut, broke free from addictions, and rebuilt a life of clarity and discipline. That journey shaped my philosophy: action doesn’t always come from motivation, but from understanding the psychology behind it.

Today, I write, speak, and teach about the second motive technique and how it can help you achieve your goals. I share ideas about mindset, emotional resilience, and clarity of purpose. My talks and workshops all aim at one thing: helping people get out of their own way and reconnect with what truly matters.
